Telephone headsets are actually more popular than you may think.  More and more people are purchasing telephone headset for both professional and personal purposes these days.

The most popular profession for using a telephone headset is in an office environment.  Call centres and shared service centres are full of employees who constantly use telephone headsets on a day to day basis.

The main purpose of their role is to communicate with customers via the telephone, and telephone headsets allow them to do this more effectively and more efficiently.
